About
I’m a UX and graphic designer with a passion for creating thoughtful, engaging digital experiences, particularly within the education space. My work is driven by a belief that well-designed interfaces can make a meaningful difference in how people learn, interact, and grow.
I hold a first-class honours degree in Graphic Design from Swansea Metropolitan University (now part of the University of South Wales), and my professional journey has allowed me to develop a strong, well-rounded skill set across UX and visual design.
In my current role, I contribute to the design and development of library-based applications, helping to shape intuitive user experiences that connect people with information and resources more effectively. Through this work, I’ve helped deliver measurable improvements in user engagement and satisfaction, reinforcing the value of user-focused design decisions.
Alongside this role, I’ve worked as a freelance designer on education-focused platforms. While living in Arizona, US, I collaborated with Community Share: an initiative designed to connect local professionals with educators and students. This experience deepened my interest in designing for learning environments and strengthened my ability to create solutions that serve diverse user groups.
My approach to design is rooted in research, collaboration, and iteration. I regularly conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand real needs and behaviours, ensuring that design decisions are grounded in insight rather than assumption. I’m comfortable developing everything from early wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD, and I enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life.
Accessibility is also a core part of my process. I aim to create inclusive, user-friendly experiences by following WCAG guidelines and considering a wide range of user needs from the outset.
Ultimately, I’m motivated by projects that combine creativity, problem-solving, and real-world impact, especially those that support education, accessibility, and community engagement.
